Mount Ephraim offers a unique, classically romantic venue for your wedding or civil ceremony. From the spectacular views of the gardens and estate, to the elegant sweeping staircase leading into the main hall; where we often host ceremonies and receptions. At Mount Ephraim we can offer you a memorable and relaxed experience to make your big day extra special. We can accommodate ceremonies of up to 100 people in the house or garden. The manor house reception rooms offer seated wedding breakfasts for up to 100 guests, with room for a total of 175 evening guests. Or for larger wedding parties we can host receptions on our front lawn in a marquee, overlooking the stunning ten acres of gardens, with room for 250+ evening guests. We’re very flexible – if you’re looking for a traditional affair, there’s no better romantic setting. Or if you’re looking to explore arrangements a little more leftfield, we can accommodate you too. There is also never a wedding the day before or after your wedding, so you can relax, take your time and enjoy your moment! We also offer accommodation, from our spectacular Sir Edwyn Suite for the night of your wedding, to 4x other newly decorated B&B guest rooms, so you can wake up to the stunning views and setting, and all enjoy breakfast the morning after. Plus, you can also hire out our modern, country themed, self-catering Garden Wing, sleeping 12, offering you the chance to have more of your closest friends and family to stay over your wedding weekend. The estate has been owned by the Dawes family since 1695 and is still run by members of the family today. It’s this family touch that lends Mount Ephraim it's personal charm. Just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us have our wedding at your incredible venue. Everything went way beyond our expectations and every single member of the staff was amazing with us and our guests. We thought the gardens were absolutely gorgeous – very much delighted our photographer Liam who was like a kid at Christmas – and really, we couldn’t have dreamed of a better setting.Just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us have our wedding at your incredible venue. Everything went way beyond our expectations and every single member of the staff was amazing with us and our guests. We thought the gardens were absolutely gorgeous – very much delighted our photographer Liam who was like a kid at Christmas – and really, we couldn’t have dreamed of a better setting.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue!We couldn’t have asked for a better venue!
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. Lucy looked after us from start to finish and let us do whatever we wanted to do, she was extremely flexible and it meant we could have the wedding that we had dreamt of. The gardens are beautiful and we pretty much has them to ourselves barring a few visitors who looked on and congratulated us as we had our photos. Also the exclusivity of the house is amazing. I don’t think I have seen anywhere where you get the house for pretty much the whole weekend rather than weddings being squashed back to back like other venues. It was a brilliant experience and I would recommend Mount Ephraim to anyone. If only we could do it all over again!We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. The best wedding venue! Lucy our wedding coordinator was fantastic the day went off without a hitch (we were so chill throughout the day it was great) The venue itself is stunning, you can get married inside or outside (both places are beautiful). Plenty of places for romantic photo opportunities. The best part is that we can come back and visit the gardens during the summer, which can’t do with a lot of wedding venues!The best wedding venue! We can not recommend this venue enough! We had the best wedding and the venue is just simply stunning. The staff here are fabulous! The venue was very accommodating of our wants and needs before the wedding and always had an open dialogue form the start. Lucy was just fantastic and so was the accommodation. She truly went above and beyond, drying off our bouncy castle with towels so that we could use it for an hour (really not her job), allowing us to decorate the day before the wedding. Sadly, we had a rainy wedding but you really wouldn’t have know. The grounds make this venue but it’s just as fabulous in the rain if not more so. Lucy was there from the morning of our wedding until it had finished. The guests were blown away with what an amazing venue it was! If we could hire it every day for our wedding we would. Where do we start. We had the most amazing day and the most amazing weekend at Mount Ephraim. Every time we met Lucy before the wedding, nothing was too much trouble. She was so helpful from start to finish. She was faultless throughout the day, and there for us when we needed it, everything was done perfectly. The house was the ideal venue for our wedding breakfast and reception, and everyone loved it. The staircase was part of many of our best moments throughout the day - walking down those stairs is the most amazing feeling. Our family stayed in the Garden Wing (which we can also highly recommend!) over the whole weekend, and it made it the family time we wanted and meant that the wedding day felt like a whole weekend as the house and gardens were ours for a lot longer! We cannot recommend this venue and team any higher, we could not have wished for anywhere better for our special day. Where do we start. We had the most amazing time at Mount Ephraim gardens. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, Vicky and Lucy, the venue coordinators, were fantastic and so supportive. We got married at Mount Ephraim and are full of gratitude for a beautiful & magical wedding which would not have been possible without the breath taking beauty and charm of the Mount Ephraim house and gardens. We fell in love with the gardens from the first moment we visited – it really holds a sacred place in our hearts – and we just feel so privileged to have been able to get married there. A massive thank you to the Dawes family and team (Gosia really does make the whole process seamless!) for the most perfect day we could ever have imagined…We got married at Mount Ephraim and are full of gratitude for a beautiful & magical wedding which would not have been possible without the breath taking beauty and charm of the Mount Ephraim house and gardens. Our event co-ordinator Gosia is fantastic at her job!! She is attentive, answering any queries large and small, and making sure you’re happy. On the day she was everywhere making sure that everything ran smoothly and was just how you wanted. She was also genuinely excited to share in your day, you can tell it’s much more than just a job to her. Mount Ephraim itself is a stunning venue, both the house and gardens, we couldn’t have had the wedding anywhere more perfect. Our guests loved it just as much as we did. And the photos taken in the garden are stunning! The food was delicious, and all the staff involved were brilliant. It’s the most beautiful venueOur event co-ordinator Gosia is fantastic at her job!!
