Description
The Main Coach House
The main Coach House is licensed to hold ceremonies and can seat up to 80 guests for a fully served 3 course meal with an additional 40 guests in the evening. The main Coach House was once home to the estates horses and carriages, and once you enter our cobbled courtyard the reason for our name will become apparent. Lovingly restored in 2006, the main Coach House offers a warm, romantic setting, we have large double doors that open onto the south facing undercover terrace that overlooks our beautiful walled Victorian gardens.
The Chapel
The Chapel is our newest room and is licensed to hold ceremonies for 80 guests, this is our main back up room in case of Bad weather and is als0 used as an area for Tea and Coffee if we cannot have this in our garden. The Chapel has a large projector and can screen pictures
The Glass House
The Glass House is a wonderful unique room offering the best of outside-in. The Glass House is licensed for ceremonies and can seat up to 50 guests for a ceremony. For a sit down meal it can seat up to 26 guests. This is a wonderful room offering you the best of outside dining
Walled Gardens
The gardens incorporate a large kitchen garden where we grow seasonal fruit, vegetables, & flowers. The garden also has a network of gravel paths, box hedging and ancient espalier fruit trees.

Trying to plan a wedding whilst dealing with a severe illness and multiple surgeries, and living in a different country, could have been a nightmare but the events team at Secret Garden made things easy to manage. Being able to sort out details via email and Skype was such a relief and we really appreciate the flexibility shown. The day itself was perfect. It was exactly how we had dreamed our wedding to be. The venue was so beautiful - everyone commented on how gorgeous the grounds were and how beautifully set out the Coach House was. The food was amazing - my only regret from the day was that I didn't go for seconds! The staff were amazing - so helpful in every situation and so polite and friendly to our guests. A massive and sincere thank you from us both for making our wedding day so wonderfully perfect! :). It was a very special day for us both of course already, and made all the more special by all the staff at the Secret Garden taking such good care of us and all our guests. The tables, garden, music, decorations, flowers, games, ice cream, cake, food, drinks everything was amazing :) Everyone had a really great time, and there was not one thing we would have done differently. All the guys were attentive, considerate, and happy to make sure everything was perfect. I have not stopped smiling. I knew we had chosen the right place after viewing it the first time, we were put at ease straight away by Laura. The lead up was very hectic as was the morning on the day for me, but once arriving I knew it was all worth it. The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on how lovely it was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. The evening was fabulous and we danced the night away. Finally to all the staff who were so friendly and attentive to all our guests needs. But may I say a particular thank you to Laura, who was there right from the start to the big day. Dealing with my many emails with questions and always putting us at ease with your replies. It was unfortunate our youngest daughter was poorly on the day, thank you for accommodating her with jam sandwiches. I can't tell you how grateful I am when I saw you speaking to her and trying to make her feel better. The venue was dressed exactly how we wanted it, the drinks were absolutely delicious and everyone serving on the day was fantastic - really engaging with the guests and attentive, but relaxed, throughout. But particular thanks for the chefs - just wow. Everyone commented that it was some of the, if not the, best food they've ever had at a wedding. A lot of people ended up feeling sick because they couldn't stop themselves eating more and more food. It was, honestly, the best day ever and you guys really made it by doing everything exactly as we wanted it and helping us in the lead up. Laura did an amazing job of getting everything sorted before the big day and guiding us through some of the areas we were less than sure about. The relief I felt when I walked in to see everything set-up exactly as we wanted it was immense and I really can't thank you enough for that. It honestly was the best decision we made choosing the Secret Garden for our wedding, we absolutely loved it and so did all our guests! Thanks again. I am so glad we decided to go with the Secret Garden. You made the whole planning effortless and straight forward, always there to guide and answer all queries. I have heard friends who have got married say how difficult it is but because of your work I didn't find that. As you may have noticed I'm not the most organized person! The hardest part of organizing it was the bridesmaid dresses! So thank you for making it so stress free!! We couldn't have asked for a better day! We're still on cloud 9!
