We are licensed for civil ceremonies, and we have a choice of five function suites to suit all tastes. We guarantee that your experience will be as unique as the both of you. At The Welcombe we provide you with first class and professional service, paying attention to the smallest of details so you don’t have to. Located among 157 acres of amazing grounds, our venue gives you a magical backdrop for your wedding day. With a historic, yet romantic setting that is dripping in elegance and romance, each photo will be a jaw-dropping reminder of every perfect moment. We can also accommodate civil ceremonies in our on-site banqueting suites which can accommodate from 40– 180 guests. We have five function rooms available that provide you with stylish settings for your dinner and reception. With 85 bedrooms, including modern apartments and traditional four poster chambers, your guests don’t have to leave early before the last dance! Our helpful and knowledgeable wedding coordinator, Robyn, understands how much planning there is to do when you are arranging the perfect wedding day, which is why they will be on hand to ensure that organising your day here at Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe is as easy as it can be.

I was a photographer for a Wedding last Friday and just had to post a review about the venue and Staff it was a fantastic day from start to finish Sean Mills was the Wedding Contact and was truly professional and customer service is paramount he obviously loves his job and nothing was to much trouble and made my job so much easier and fun please do not lose him. The venue was fantastic and we even had a young man who came around with us making sure everything was as it should be. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the staff at the Welcombe hotel to provide us with the perfect wedding day 19.04.19. Special thank you to Sean who was by my side every step of the way - to that I thank him. It was a beautiful day and couldn’t of wished for a better venue to you all. My Sons WeddingMy Sons Wedding
I can not recommend the The Welcombe highly enough , my son got married here on Saturday the 30 th the venue was glorious , and all of the staff were excellent and Shaun the assistant manager made certain the whole day ran very smoothly and his willingness to make the day run smoothly was fantastic. The Welcombe suite for the breakfast was decorated as requested all the tables were perfect. The room I stayed in was spotless, the bed very comfatable . Thanks to there help it was a perfect day . Wow! What a venue! We celebrated my sister's wedding here. The hotel and its staff were amazing from start to finish. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. Sean Mills especially was an absolute delight. He was so attentive, clearly excellent at his job and really went that extra mile with everything he did, making us all feel so welcome. He is most definitely a huge asset to this amazing hotel. We really had the best time, the wedding went smoothly from start to finish. The wedding breakfast was delicious, piping hot despite the number of guests, as was all the food over the weekend. The drinks were flowing, hats off to the waiters/waitress's and bar staff for being on hand at every moment with a top up! We also arranged a surprise hen weekend here in the apartments and spa attached to the hotel. The apartments were amazing and again this was so well put together. We we treated like royalty lol Sean again was incredible, along with Mr Butler in the spa who was a delight too and really made us feel welcome and comfortable! Another asset to this beautiful hotel. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, it's clean, comfortable, the staff so accomodating and has the most incredible views! Hoping to return soon for a relaxing spa weekend. Everyone at the wedding, and I mean everyone, was so impressed how they made sure the wedding, the food and accommodation was perfect and if there was anything it was dealt with straight away. Through Sean’s control it went like clockwork very professional and the staff was smiling and looked happy. This meant that Because of Sean my husband and I and the bride and groom were allowed to relax and enjoy the day knowing he was there. The amount of our guest who have already posted to all their families and friends how lovely the hotel is and our American relatives said they can’t wait to come back. We have recently had our wedding at the Welcombe and we must say it was outstanding. From the moment that we walked into the place 18 months ago we knew that it was the perfect venue for our wedding. A special thank you must go to Jess the hotel wedding planner who was instrumental in helping us plan our day and has been on hand to assist us all the way through. The day itself went perfectly to plan and we could not have asked for a better day. All our guests have commented on the quality of the hotel facilities and staff, with many of them saying its without doubt the best wedding venue that they have been to.We have recently had our wedding at the Welcombe and we must say it was outstanding.
