Voewood

Voewood is one of the most important Arts & Crafts houses in England and sits in stunning sunken gardens that are completely enclosed by woodland. The interiors house an eclectic mix of contemporary art, tribal pieces and retro furniture set in rooms with hand painted walls and soft furnishings that are all completely unique. The house was designed to be a home and we aim for every one of our guests to feel that they could happily stay for weeks or months on end! We are a very laid back bunch here and we have no hidden costs. You may check in at any time from 12 noon on a Friday and will then have the run of the house and 11 acres of gardens until 2 pm on a Sunday. You are completely free to bring in your own suppliers and to make the house uniquely yours for the duration of your stay. All towels, house firewood, linens, soaps and kitchen equipment are provided for the 41 house guests and we also have free Wi-Fi. Our licence allows you to party until 10.30 pm in the gardens and midnight in the house, after that it’s time to kick off the dancing shoes and chill out with some background music and drinks.
