Set within the charming Oxfordshire countryside, Cotswolds Hotel & Spa is the perfect marquee wedding venue for celebrations with up to 200 guests. The venue, licensed to hold civil ceremonies, sits beside the golf course and looks out over the 9th and 10th tee.
The venue offers everything you could need for a wonderful wedding celebration, with a grand marquee, an unrivalled location and service of the highest standard. You will benefit from the services of our dedicated events manager who will be on hand to help you plan your day.
Yours will be the only wedding taking place at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa on your big day. You can have a private celebration with your nearest and dearest as you enjoy the fantastic facilities and exceptional, attentive service.
We can host your romantic ceremony as well as your wedding breakfast and following reception. The marquee is the perfect party space with its own private bar and dancefloor. You and your guests can also enjoy stunning views across the countryside from the marquee and the terrace area.
You can take the Golf Buggy out to the course to capture some special photos against a picturesque backdrop for your cherished wedding album.
The hotel also boasts 34 stylish bedrooms for your overnight guests with use of our relaxing spa facilities. We offer complimentary car parking for up to 150 vehicles, so the venue is great for travelling guests too. For your first night of married life, we offer you use of the luxurious bridal suite – the perfect end to the perfect day.

- EEmma and Matt27/06/2016The day went perfectly, the staff were brilliant!The day went perfectly, the staff were brilliant!We got married at the Cotswolds Hotel and Spa earlier this year and would highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful setting with lovely food, great staff and a relaxing yet fun atmosphere. Sophie, Olivia & Frankie were very helpful from when we first met, through to when we left the venue the day after the wedding. They really helped with the planning, taking all of our details and requests into account. On the morning of the wedding our parents delivered the flower arrangements and decorations to Olivia, and when we arrived every table was set up beautifully. The day went perfectly, and the staff were brilliant, discretely checking things were just as we wanted, but without interrupting in any way. The venue works really well, particularly with a range of guest ages, with guests making use of the patio area overlooking the golf course, the bar area with the music, as well as the main wedding breakfast room/marquee, which was also used for the evening buffet. Many of the guests stayed overnight, and having breakfast together the next morning was the perfect end to our wedding in the Cotswolds. Thank you so much to all of the staff for making our day so special. We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team for everything that was done for our wedding day. It really was perfect, and we both had the best day. Our guests were so impressed with everything too! Even though timings were a bit off with our arrival, everything still managed to run smoothly, and we appreciate the work which was put in to make this happen. We also wanted to say a special thank you to the manager who went on the golf buggies with us and helped out the morning after the wedding, and an extra special thank you to the lovely South African lady at reception (sorry we can’t remember names!) who was a MASSIVE help throughout the whole wedding weekend, especially with my last minute nail booking disaster and being so great in the morning before I left for church. As a wedding planner, my only worry was not being able to switch off and enjoy the day like a 'normal' bride. You took this worry away from me so easily, I was just able to enjoy my day and not even think about anything else. I will honestly be forever grateful for this, I cannot even put it into words. It was such a pleasure to meet someone with as much passion for weddings as myself. Your venue is truly beautiful. From the moment we both walked through the door, we knew this was where we were going to get married. Even though it was 2yrs away! Everything was finished with the highest standard, you can really tell that you and your team know what you are doing when it comes to weddings. We felt safe in your hands. You worked with our suppliers and helped create a truly magical day. Your attention to detail was perfect and wonderfully in-line with my own OCD levels..! The food was delicious. We can't believe there was even a time when we weren't going to have canapés. Serving them at the menu tasting was pure genius (I may have to steal that one) - these were scrumptious! There is a very funny picture of me running off with a tray because I just didn't want to share! I did, with my husband, of course, ha! The wedding breakfast was absolutely lovely. We had lots of comments specifically about the beef and ale pie - lots of love for that pie in the room! I especially loved my gravy jug just for me. I really wanted to drink the entire jug... The hog roast in the evening was also delicious - please pass on our thanks to chef and his/her team for all the food we had the privilege of eating on our wedding day. (And for accommodating some very peculiar requests, ha!) It was all truly spectacular and every single person in the room enjoyed it! All in all, you were a pleasure to work with and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are amazing at what you do and I cannot recommend you enough. Anybody getting married with you needn't worry about a single thing - you got this! I feel that they really helped us to find a package that would suit us. I can’t thank cotswold hotel and spa enough for everything they have done for us, they made the day run smoothly and with no problems or stress at all. The venue is absolutely beautiful and they are so flexible with what you can do with it decoration wise which is lovely because you really can put your own touch on things. The food was amazing as all the guests also complimented on this. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
During last years visit from the beast from the east our bride & groom and 70 of their overnight guests woke up the morning after their special day to a blanket of snow. With conditions not safe to travel home & all our rooms for the Sunday night cancelling we offer them a reduced nights stay & it turned into a fabulous celebration for the whole of Sunday as well.
