Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, lies the exclusive Heythrop Park Resort. Nestled in 440 acres of picturesque grounds and gardens, Heythrop is an all season wedding venue offering something unique and special at any time of the year from winter weddings in December to Alfresco receptions on the croquet lawns in the summer. September 2020 is your last opportunity for a traditional wedding with our Manor House and Ballroom. However our Archery Suite on the Lawns marquee is available until the end of December 2020 for larger weddings and able to cater for up to 800 guests! We pride ourselves on our personal attention to detail and as your dedicated wedding planner, and will work with you from the very beginning, making sure that all your needs are catered for so when the big day comes, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the best day of your life. The picturesque grounds and the Manor House offers a truly magical backdrop for those all-important photographs, capturing treasured memories for years to come. Heythrop Park Resort offers a truly spectacular venue for your special day.

Best day everBest day ever
We just wanted to send a quick email regarding our wedding Saturday. Myself and Lisa had the best day ever and we are so happy that we picked Heythrop as our venue. It was absolutely perfect. This comes down to many factors, but 2 of these are Lauren and Suzanne. You two are absolutely amazing. As we said on the day you have really done a great job in bringing everything together. Joining us half way through the process could have caused issues but you did an amazing job. It was a great day. Suzanne on the day was also amazing. Everyone in the wedding party commented on this, she made sure the day ran to plan and everything happened at the right time. I know Eric was very grateful of her help throughout the day. Lisa's dad was also very impressed. The rest of the team at Heythrop also. They all did a great job thought the day. Food was great, timings was great. Everything was sorted there was nothing that hadn't been thought about. Magical Day!Magical Day!
Myself and Gary just want to say we had a magical day and we were very happy. Lots of guests commented on how great the service, decoration, food and venue is. Also we wanted to express how happy we were with helping us plan the wedding. You have taken the time to get to know us, and the personal touches such as ensuring we felt comfortable with everything, taking the time to give us the Canapés after the ceremony, going that extra mile. Also for ensuring that you brought me down to the ceremony personally. And for always communicating with us and answering all questions and making us feel relaxed. So thank you, we had an amazing time. Myself and Gary just want to say we had a magical day and we were very happy. Lots of guests commented on how great the service, decoration, food and venue is. Also we wanted to express how happy we were with helping us plan the wedding. We're still on a high!We're still on a high!
Paul and I are still on a high from Saturday. We can't thank Suzanne and the team enough for how they were so attentive towards us and our guests. Myself and Paul can't thank you enough Lauren for all your help and support in helping and ensuring that our day went smoothly. Like yourself we have enjoyed all our emails and we will certainly miss them but what has impressed us the most is that no matter how many questions we had for you, you always came back with the answer very quickly. Thank you for your best wishes and we will let you know when we do visit the Heythrop again as it would be nice to see you and also to just be surrounded by the Heythrop's beautiful grounds which will always have a special place in our hearts and remind us of the special day that we had on Saturday. What can we say? It was perfect!What can we say? It was perfect!
Well, what can we say?! We had an absolutely fantastic day and everything ran to plan and was executed perfectly. Our guests really enjoyed it too and we’ve been inundated with thank you cards and messages and people saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Everything was perfect, Lauren. The venue, of course, was admired by everyone, the organisation of everything, the entertainment and the food. So many people have described the wedding breakfast as “superb”, for both the Indian and non Indian dishes. Please do be sure to give Chef my very particular and special thanks. He did us proud, the Indians really enjoyed the Indian food (which speaks volumes for Chef and his staff) and so many people said the chicken supreme sauce was delicious. It was commented on that all of the food was served piping hot and beautifully presented. The waiting staff and others who helped make sure everything on the day ran smoothly also deserve our thanks. Richard the Toastmaster was fabulous and, of course, special and the greatest thanks go to you for everything you did for us in the run up and on the day. The evening was great - Richie did a great job on the disco and the fireworks were amazing. The hog roast was delicious - so I’m told, I didn’t eat any - and the cake went down a storm too. Lauren, I had told myself to expect and not mind that one or two things would go a bit wrong, but nothing did, not one thing. I feel so lucky and we are so very happy. The Venue itself is wonderfulThe Venue itself is wonderful
I held my wedding reception here at the end of October, and the setting really was wonderful for this time of year with all the autumnal vibes. The ballroom comfortably seated my 350 guests, and the open space outside with the fire pits etc helped. However for my guests who were staying at the venue (Crown Plaza) did not have such a good experience, throughout the booking process did not feel they had the best experience, the wedding discount prices quoted to me were not discounted at all, and a lot of my guests ended up booking on other online platforms as it was significantly cheaper, we found the booking team direct at the hotel were not very accommodating and were misquoting people and there was a lot of inconsistency, which i think looked bad on the hotel. As the bride and groom we were given a suite, however the was no "guest experience" here, given that we hosted a pretty large event at the venue with half of our guest staying at the venue i was expecting a better experience. I just felt like any other person staying at the venue. The organisation process from start to finish was pretty straight forward, i think better communication leading to the day would have been helpful as i had to chase this on the day of arrival which is not ideal- with all the rest of the stress going on.
