A magnificent restored historic barn beautifully located in rural Oxfordshire, and set in its own grounds near the ancient market town of Wantage, south of Oxford. It is the perfect place for wedding ceremonies and receptions and is available for your exclusive use. The main barn consists of a majestic hall with huge barn doors opening onto the lawned courtyard. Catering is carried out in house to a very high standard and offers a superb range of menus to suit your individual tastes. A fully licensed bar is available and we have a comprehensive selection of wine and champagne packages to choose from.

Where to start?! The most perfect wedding venue.Where to start?! The most perfect wedding venue.
We got married at Lains Barn in December 2018 and were overwhelmed by how brilliant the staff were. The barn is utterly beautiful, the staff were attentive and efficient and the food was amazing! On the day, the staff worked so hard to ensure that everything went perfectly so that we could relax and enjoy our big day. Highly recommend. Best Day EverBest Day Ever
Well Lains Barn was by far the best venue ever. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. The staff are amazing and talked us through the day. We were relaxed and even our guests said they've never been to a well organised and relaxed wedding day before. Thank you to Nigel and Rachel but of course all the staff were amazing.Well Lains Barn was by far the best venue ever. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day. Such an amazing day, staff were fantastic. The day went exactly to planned even though myself the bride had to divert and go past the hotel the groom and best man stayed at to get the RINGS that they had left there!! Simply the best day of our lives and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a barn venue that is not over dressed and is what it is. All our guests have commented how much they loved the day and how lovely the venue was! Our florist even said that when they hear Barn they cringe as they are usually over dressed but after seeing it she commented on how lovely it was and how little we needed to decorate it! Such a magical day!! Such an amazing day, staff were fantastic.
