Merriscourt home of Thomas Astor and his family is nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds on the borders of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. The panoramic views are breathtakingly beautiful all year round and this makes Merriscourt a perfect location for your Wedding day. No two Weddings are the same at Merriscourt and the Event team pride themselves on listening to what our clients want and delivering their special requirements and wishes. Weddings at Merriscourt are very relaxed and can be as formal or as informal as you wish. Merriscourt combines traditional Cotswold style with elegant light, spacious interiors. It is the perfect environment for expressing your personality and creative ideas for your Wedding. Each of the barns are inter-connecting and open on to a beautiful flower-filled courtyard which means your guests are never too far from the celebrations. All three barns have their own individual characteristics giving your guests a surprise as they enter each barn.

Merriscourt is a simply stunning Cotswold wedding venue that is highly flexible in terms of accommodating a drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party - all can be catered for inside which means no worries about the British weather! The on site accommodation in the Old House and Pumphouse were also of the highest quality and we loved having our family and friends staying with us on our wedding weekend.Merriscourt is a simply stunning Cotswold wedding venue that is highly flexible in terms of accommodating a drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening party - all can be catered for inside which means no worries about the British weather! The on site accommodation in the Old House and Pumphouse were also of the highest quality and we loved having our family and friends staying with us on our wedding weekend.

Merriscourt is the most amazing venue and we had such a fantastic wedding here. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, with different areas to move to throughout the day, the staff are all fantastic too. Debbie, the events manager, is so knowledgeable and calm, exactly what you'd wish for when arranging a wedding. Dorota and Dan were fabulous on the day, helping everything run smoothly and working in sync with Wesley House caterers. Lucy from Wesley House is also fantastic!Merriscourt is the most amazing venue and we had such a fantastic wedding here.
