Steventon House Hotel is a historical Victorian Country mansion, full of unique character and history; set in beautiful landscaped grounds. It was once owned by the sewing machine magnate Sir Mortimer Singer and a distinctive bygone feel pervades throughout this character property.
We have recently refurbished and now boast a beautifully boutique styled interior, there is an aura of contemporary elegance combined with a vintage twist. So if you are looking for a distinctive, and intimate backdrop for your wedding day, this is the place for you. Being a small independent boutique hotel, we can ensure that every member off our hotel team is dedicated to making your wedding day the most special and memorable occasion it can be.
We are nestled just of the A34 in the Oxfordshire countryside, just outside Steventon village. With easy accessible links to both the M4 and M40.

The staff work so hard and are dedicated to ensuring the couple have an amazing day. They made the day run so smoothly and never showed any sign of strain or difficulty. I can't thank them or recommend this venue enough. The rooms were clean, tidy and fresh. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was in perfect condition. The food was fresh, delicious, and very well presented. Drinks were reasonable in price and the bar had plenty of variety. The grounds were well maintained and provided a beautiful setting. It ticked all the boxes and all made the day even better.
