Located in the heart of leafy Buckinghamshire, and yet only a few miles from Windsor, Heathrow Airport and London, Stoke Park exudes romance and luxury, and can cater for a wide range of needs to make your dream day come true. Movie star glamour is evidently present within the grounds of this enchanting estate. Their very own Bridal Suite was used as the iconic romantic mini-break destination in the 2001 film ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’, their 1908 Championship golf course featured prominently in the 1964 James Bond film ‘Goldfinger’ and the Mansion made a star appearance in Daniel Craig’s ‘Layer Cake’. Stoke Park is licensed to hold Civil Marriage Ceremonies, which means that you can take your vows in any of our three licensed beautiful rooms or outside on the gorgeous Fountain Terrace. The Perfect VenueThe Perfect Venue
Stoke Park provided us with the perfect venue for our wedding earlier this year (March 31st 2017). Driving into the estate it becomes instantly clear that this is a special place and fitting for the most important of occasions. The Mansion House is an iconic backdrop and set within the beautiful grounds certainly allows for some fantastic photograph opportunities throughout the day! What doesn't go unnoticed is the professional yet personal service provided from ALL of the staff at Stoke Park. From initial consultations, menu tastings, logistics and planning, right through to the management of the day itself, everything that could be delivered was done so beyond our expectations. We would like to give special recognition to our Wedding Coordinator Michele and her team who dealt with all of our questions and queries and gave expert advice when we needed it most in the months, weeks and days leading up to the big day. Fantastic DayFantastic Day
Had my wedding here on 20/08/2017. Fantastic day enjoyed by everyone who attended. Would like to thank Michele, Roy and Gabby in particular as they really stood out for me! Fantastic service by everybody else but these 3 deserve a special mention. Grounds are stunning and food was excellent. Can’t thank you enough for one of the most memorable days of my life. We had our daughter's wedding at Stoke Park in a hurry, We only had under two months to get the date of the wedding agreed, decide on the wedding package, agree on the menu, drink etc. etc. etc. So, time was of the essence and with the Wedding Coordinator help, guidance and cooperation we managed to pull it off and everything was organised and executed beautifully. From the very outset to the end we worked with the Wedding Coordinator as a team and everything run like clock work on the big day. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Everything was absolutely perfect. The one thing that I was very impressed with was the coordination and serving of the food and beverage by the staff. I could not fault anything at all. They have this down to a fine art. Firstly, can we say that we had a fantastic time, and we have had so many people telling us that they really enjoyed themselves, which to us is just as important. In addition, we have had many people feedback about how much they enjoyed the food, so our thanks and compliments to the chef and all catering staff. One person we must mention in particular is Roy, who was excellent with our guests, and controlled everything really well, so please pass on our thanks to him for making the event very special for us. Any finally, thanks to you (Michele) for your help, patience and attention to detail. Despite there being barely two months from the time we chose Stoke Park and the wedding date itself, everything always felt logistically unflustered, options were clearly articulated and sensibly staggered so we never felt like we were drowning beneath a weight of decisions to be made. It was evident we were in very experienced hands and even unexpected changes to plan were easily accommodated. The recommended suppliers were all superb – flowers, photographer, musicians, DJ, cake maker – all delivered to the highest level. The support staff were really professional and only sought any decisions from us if strictly necessary – we really were left to enjoy everything. The food was fantastic – there were many comments to the effect that to create at that level of quality for one guest is impressive, but to do it for nearly 100 people was remarkable. As is very well documented, the venue is stunning – for any major event and also as a hotel. We had an amazing day which we will never forget. Perfect Wedding DayPerfect Wedding Day
We had a perfect wedding day we could only dream of on 3 June 2018. Special thanks to Michele, the star wedding co-coordinator and her wonderful team at Stoke Park. We made up our mind straight away after our first meeting with Michele last July. The way she listened, her willingness to accommodate our needs (e.g. an evening recital) and her thoughtful suggestions made us feel very special. We instantly knew we had come to the right person and the right place. Michele helped shape our day. Every step leading up to the big day, Michele gave me timely prompts and guidance on what I need to do by when. Our interactions include phone calls, emails and two coordination meetings leading up to the wedding day. Communication was warm, timely, clear and professional. She was always responsive to even my tiniest little queries. The 12 page detailed function sheet (by the minute) she prepared for us to go through at the coordination meetings saved me days and nights of work and took so much stress away - really appreciate that. She was patient with the last minute changes and updated the function sheet several times till it's final and ready for the big day. During final coordination, Michele invited her catering manager Kasia and toast master Roy to meet us, who were both lovely, and they reassured us that "we don't need to worry a thing!" Kasia was so sweet and capable and took care of us all day long, including making sure food and refreshments were perfect and she even helped us arrange he gifts for our guests. Roy Austin, our toast master, ran our day with so much style, liaising with the suppliers and key guests and gave me prompts throughout the day so that we stick to the timetable. He has experience hosting many high profile events around the world so no wonder! All the staff were great - attentive and professional, always have a smile on their face on the day. Our memories are of a perfect wedding day. Everything went according to plan by the minute - faultless. All the guests, young and old, enjoyed the day and were impressed. With its sweeping driveway and opulent interiors it was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding of 30 guests. The team at Stoke Park were fantastic - well organised and nothing was too much trouble. Particular thanks goes to Michele our wedding coordinator and Kasia our banqueting manager who oversaw all of the little details and smooth running of the day. The whole planning process was thoroughly enjoyable and stress free. Our guests commented on how excellent the food was, how attentive the staff were and how the wine flowed!
