Description

Here at Blackstock we have two beautiful barns, The Tudor and The Granary. We offer the option of reserving either one barn, with access to the grounds, or both barns, which would allow you to enjoy the entire estate exclusively for your big day. Our exquisitely restored 16th Century Tudor Barn sits at the high point of 70 acres of scenic farmland, offering stunning views to complement the tasteful decor within the venue itself. Licensed for weddings and civil partnerships. As well as providing the perfect venue to hold your reception, we are also licensed to hold civil partnership and wedding ceremonies for up to 180 guests. If you would prefer to hold the ceremony elsewhere, with the reception at Blackstock Farm, we are conveniently located close to the church of St Peter and St Paul. If you have any special requirements for your ceremony, then let us know. We will endeavour to accommodate any wish that you may have, so as to make your ceremony extra special and personal for you.

We wanted to write to say thank you to everyone at Blackstock for arranging our wonderful wedding reception on the 1st December. The service we received from Blackstock was impeccable from our first visit. You were all unfailingly courteous, helpful and flexible. Planning our wedding was a pleasure and your team took all the stress out of the process. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the planning, especially Gill, for always answering emails promptly, for working so well with all our other suppliers and for going the extra mile. The day itself was everything we had hoped for only a thousand times more wonderful. Thanks to everyone who was present on the day, especially to Florian who led his team brilliantly. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, answering queries and requests promptly and courteously and looking after us and all our friends so beautifully. The venue was decorated magnificently by Joanne at Inspiration Decor and we would recommend her without hesitation. Thanks to Blackstock for putting up the Christmas Tree as well! The food was excellent and all our guests commented on how good it was. We were very impressed with the speed and efficiency with which the food was served, piping hot and delicious. Special thanks as well to Gill and the chefs for providing the groom with apple crumble! We had a luxurious and restful stay in the Goat Shed which is beautifully put together with excellent facilities and we'd recommend staying there to any bride and groom. All our friends commented on how special the day was and what a wonderful venue it was. Everyone at Blackstock deserves praise for working together so well, as a team to ensure we had the best day of our lives and that we started our marriage in a golden glow of warmth and happiness. You all helped to make that happen, and for that, we thank you. We chose Blackstock for our November wedding and it was the most amazing experience from start to finish. Paul, Gill and all the staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. From our first visit until the morning after the wedding everything we wanted was accommodated. The feedback from our family and friends has been very complimentary with everyone saying what a beautiful venue, amazing food and such lovely staff. If you want a magical wedding then Blackstock is the place.We chose Blackstock for our November wedding and it was the most amazing experience from start to finish. We had an amazing day!We had an amazing day!
We had just an amazing day! It couldn’t have gone any better and was everything we had planned for and hoped it would be. I want to do the whole day all over again! Even the rain didn’t dampen the day. Am more happy to put reviews on the sites below, I’ll do this tonight. Huge thanks to Florin (Operation Manager) who was just brilliant on the day. He even helped our photographer Millie! He went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Superstar. Also, a special mention to Alan (Head Security) who was great, another calming voice on the day and controlling a few who had too many beverages! Vikki (FOH Supervisor) was also super helpful on the morning. You have a wonderful team of staff at Blackstock. Nothing is too much trouble. So many people commented on finding a gem of a venue and everyone mentioned the food. One of my friends who doesn’t usually eat pork, raved about the hog roast. It was all just so incredible and I can’t thank everyone at Blackstock enough. Huge thanks to you Gill (wedding Coordinator) who helped with our wedding planning. You were such a wonderful help and nothing was too much trouble and prompt responses are so very much appreciated when you’re a bride trying to get stuff done! We had a few changes along the way and on the day but this was dealt with so easily, it makes a massive difference. I know without a doubt, we chose the best venue, it was all perfect. On behalf of my HUSBAND & I, we would just like to say a huge thank you for helping us create the most perfect wedding day bespoke to us. Your whole team were so friendly - something that all of our guests commented on! And we really felt that no request or email (of which there were many!) was dismissed or belittled. The food was incredible with so many of our guests agreeing that it was better than restaurant standard! I don’t think there was a single mouthful left on any plate. Gill and Andre helped us to feel so relaxed in what was a very stressful build up and Sarah and Florian were incredible on the day, making sure that everything went seamlessly. Karen always made us feel welcome and important and I really hope that we can stay in touch for a long time to come. We feel like part of the Blackstock family! We have genuinely fallen in love with Blackstock and you definitely haven’t seen the last of us! The dream day!The dream day!
I'd always pictured my wedding day, but it was nothing compared to the actual dream that Blackstock provided for us! From start to finish everything went smoothly, the staff were incredible, the place looked so beautiful ; like an actual fairytale. We couldn't stop smiling all day, and still regularly pine for it and wish it hadn't flown by so fast! If only you could live your wedding day over and over again!! We couldn't praise Blackstock highly enough, they catered to our every need and made the day so effortless and relaxed. Everything was taken care of. Thank you! Unfortunately The staff at Blackstock couldn’t arrange the weather for us... but if they could have, they would have. An amazing team from top to bottom, gave my wife and I the dream wedding. We instantly felt comfortable with them from the initial meeting right through to our breakfast the morning after. They dealt with countless emails (from my wife). There was never a request or job to big or to small and there was someone on hand to make sure our day went as planned. On the day They became part of our wedding party and couldn’t thank them enough, 100% recommend.Unfortunately The staff at Blackstock couldn’t arrange the weather for us... but if they could have, they would have.
