Description
A wedding at Wycombe Abbey ensures exclusive use of the elegant function rooms, including Daws Hill. Originally home to Lord Carrington and his family, the function rooms have hosted royalty and provide the perfect wedding setting. The suite of stunning function rooms are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and include the intimate wood panelled Oak Room and the majestic early nineteenth century Fisher Library set within the Abbey.
The beautiful grounds thought to be designed by Capability Brown, provide an oasis of calm and are the ideal backdrop for wedding photographs of your special day. The Abbey and its impressive landscape inspired artists such as William Turner and include romantic features such as the swan lake, chapel cloisters, the ice house and sculptures.
Our professional in-house catering team will provide an unforgettable silver service wedding breakfast with a range of tempting menus. The Dining Room is able to accommodate between 70 and 120 guests, whilst the traditional Big Hall can easily accommodate up to 150 guests, with up to 200 for the evening buffet. There is no corkage fee and you may supply your own wine for arrival drinks and the wedding breakfast, whilst guests can enjoy our licenced bar for the evening reception and dancing.

From the initial booking right through to the actual day, we are pleased to help you each step of the way. The Grade II listed buildings and gardens are stunning and guests appreciate the wonderful food and very high level of service from our dedicated catering team.

Prices range from £1,975 for our Champagne and Canapé package which offers a 4 hour exclusive hire period and can include a civil wedding ceremony followed by champagne, canapés, tea and cutting the cake.
Alternatively for a full day's exclusive hire including wedding breakfast, venue hire is £4,750 for Mondays to Thursdays, £5,995 for Fridays and Sundays and £6,200 for Saturdays. We are honouring 2020 venue hire prices for all weddings booked now for 2021.

She was also there on the day to liaise with the Registrars, greet the guests and make sure we, the bride and groom, knew exactly what we were doing and were calm and collected. She was an enormous help and we can't thank her enough. There are so many corners of the estate, and the main building, which provided us with different views, light and architecture. Our photographers were very happy! With the impressive entrance hall flowing seamlessly through to indoor and outdoor reception areas, as well as the Chapel courtyard, we were spoilt for choice of areas where our 120 guests could make use of the grounds. The catering team went above and beyond to create a menu that we were blown away by. The events team provided the logistics and organisational support which meant that our special day was filled with treasured memories and very little worry! We couldn’t think of a better place to have said ‘I do’!We were so lucky to be able to use this stunning venue. The first had been superbly organised and we were confident the second would be likewise. The events staff were very helpful, giving confidence that all would be well. All the staff were flexible, patient and generous with their time prior to the day. The grand surroundings are in pristine condition. For a winter wedding it was ideal to flow from the chapel courtyard to Fisher Library. For our first daughter's wedding in springtime, we enjoyed the scenic environment of Daws Hill at the top of the estate, with its beautiful dining room for 100 guests. The catering team were very flexible and they understood the importance to us of choosing our own wine. Both in the final preparation and on the day, all staff were very efficient and helpful. In terms of food, the meat was cooked to perfection. A huge thanks for the wonderful day that you and the staff managed to create for us. The venue looked beautiful, the food was delicious and the service really smooth.This was our second family wedding at Wycombe Abbey. There are so many that it is impossible to name one. Personal favourites, however, are the abbey from the swan lake and the ice house.

The function rooms hosted royalty in 1871 including the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Benjamin Disraeli.
